Lisa Amador
Owner + Nail Tech
Lisa has 25 years of experience in the nail and beauty industry. She has received extensive training in the application of gel acrylics, shellac manicures and pedicures. Over the years she has been involved in all aspects of the beauty industry.
In 2008, she drew upon all of her experience and opened SalonOne19 & Spa. Lisa puts her heart and soul into creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere for all the clients and service professionals that call SalonOn19 & Spa home.
Beth Hollars
Hair Stylist
Beth believes nothing is more rewarding than to help someone look and feel beautiful. She enjoys communicating with her clients to create a custom look to fit their personality and lifestyle. It’s important for clients to leave her chair feeling confident that they can recreate their look at home with ease. Giving a great haircut then accenting it with the perfect color is what she loves. She is able to increase her knowledge and skills through continuing education in current techniques and trends.

My mission is to provide clients with the highest level of skill, service and products in an enjoyable, friendly salon environment. I have education and training with industry leaders around the world and have even styled for the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders. I have educated with Paul Michell, Sebastian, Redken, Aquage, Tigi, Framesi, Goldwell and Aveda. I have trained with the following: John and Suzanne Chadwick (Hair Industry Royalty), Chris Baron and Sam Villa, Redken platform artist and educators (hair industry icons).
Tonjia Wears
Hair Stylist
Tonija has been in the beauty industry for 17 years. She has worked at some of the top salons in Leawood and Overland Park. Her work has even been featured on national television and local magazines. She thrives on making her guests look and feel their best. She has completed extensive education in color and was a color specialist for 10 years. She is also certified in keratin treatments and INVISI-TAB hair extensions.
Brenna Curtis
Hair Stylist
Brenna’s passion for the beauty industry stems from her love of style and fashion. Her techniques include cut, color, highlighting/balayage, color correction, keratin treatments, special occasion hair, and makeup. Brenna is an exclusive Perfectress micro-link extension specialist and is properly trained in the application, cutting, blending and removal of the extensions with no damage to the guests natural hair.
Brittany Barrett
Hair Stylist
Brittany has been in the hair industry for four years. She started her journey at Eric Fisher Academy where she had extensive cutting training and L’Oréal Professionnel color training. With cutting, color, and styling workshops completed with Vidal Sassoon’s creative directors, Brittany has a passion for doing hair of all kinds. She loves coloring bright blondes and is a cutting specialist. When Brittany is not at the salon she enjoys cooking and hanging out with her family including her little girl.
Danielle Velasquez
Hair Stylist
Danielle specializes in custom colored hair extensions, balayage, cuts, blonding and corrective color. She strives to educate her clients on their hair and provide high-quality services. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Leah Nygren
Hair Stylist
Starting her career in 2005, graduating from X’enon International School of Hair Design in Wichita, KS, Leah moved to the KC area in 2018 and loves everything the area has to offer. She is very personable and enjoys getting to know her guests and helping them feel their very best. Leah strives to get the best style and color for her guest’s lifestyles. She specializes in color, balayage, cutting, keratin hair treatments, perfectress ultimate link weft extensions, and halo shape in hair extensions. Leah also has extensive training with L’Oreal professional coloring and cutting.
Emily Chase
Hair Stylist
Emily graduated from Z Hair Academy. She now specializes in Blonding/Balayage. Her goal is to provide low-maintenance services as well as informing her clients on how to optimize the integrity of their hair at home. She has a passion for balayage as it allows her creativity to shine through. When Emily isn’t in the salon she is spending her time with family and traveling to see her brothers in the airforce.
Heidi Nguyen
Nail Tech
Heidi Nguyen has been offering nail services for over 13 years. Heidi is OPI and CND certified. Heidi provides her clients with excellent service and truly cares about each of her clients. Her clients rave about her luxurious pedicures. Heidi believes her clients should feel good from inside and out. Heidi specializes in gel, shellac, and natural nails. She is also very talented with nail art.
In her free time Heidi enjoys listening to music, traveling, cooking, karaoke, and spending time with friends and family.
Tammy Ha
Nail Tech
Tammy’s career in the nail industry spans seventeen years. She is highly skilled in manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, shellac manicures, silk overlays, and acrylic nails. Tammy’s specialties include acrylic nails and pedicures. She is trained and certified by OPI and CND.
Tammy strives to provide each customer with a fully customized, professional, and relaxing experience each time they come to SalonOne19 & Spa.
